Murray & Roberts Concessions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Murray & Roberts Limited, with offices in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, South Africa, and is led and managed by a knowledgable and experienced team, dedicated to delivering world-class, one-stop solutions for the design, construction, financing, maintaining and operating of concession projects in South Africa and has begun extending this experience into broader project developments.
Murray & Roberts Concessions enjoys a strong relationship and partners closely with the South African National Roads Agency on local road projects. The business engages with the National Treasury’s Public/Private Partnership Unit on Government’s National and Provincial building programmes, identifying and developing additional opportunities in these markets.

Murray & Roberts Concessions was a leading sponsor and remains an active participant in the management of the projects as a shareholder. Murray & Roberts has the capability to successfully deliver projects through Murray & Roberts Construction, Murray & Roberts Roads and Earthworks and Tolcon.
Murray & Roberts Concessions was a leading sponsor and partner in the Bombela Consortium from the start of the Gautrain bid through to the financial close that was achieved in January 2007, a process that took over five years to conclude. Design and construction is well underway on Gautrain involving Murray & Roberts executives in the Bombela Concession Company, the Turnkey Contractor, Civil and Operator companies. The Gautrain project remains on programme and budget for completion in 2011.
Murray & Roberts Concessions successfully concluded the concession for South Africa's first privately operated prison. This world-class contract accommodates 2,928 maximum-security prisoners in the town of Mangaung, Bloemfontein. The project was completed three months ahead of schedule and within budget, incorporating all Government’s requirements for empowerment.
